New 1754 center console GtR LS
I'm thinking about getting the package deal from gator tail center console series 1754 35 LS . The one displayed on there sight. Does anyone have any thoughts if this is a good deal or should I Look somewhere else. I'd like to get uncle j to build one but he is taking a break from builds. Would anybody change or modify that rig or just stay out of it. I'll be fishing out of South lafourche galliano. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

If you browse the Reviews section - search via Google - GTR 1754 CC reviews MMT = you'll likely see a LOT of happy customers.
for that cash - i would think a few custom boat makers could build you something similar for a little less $$ but dont quote me on it =)
Good luck!

I would try to go custom if you could. You get it exactly how you want it.

I got the total package from GT and I'm very satisfied with the rig. There are custom options. I just travel to much and don't have time to layout a hull with a custom builder.
You can't go wrong with a GT rig. They know how to build a boat that suits there motors. I have a faster than average boat compared to many on here. Im guessing it's the boat, being designed around the engine.

I've got the same boat your looking at but a tiller. I really like my boat but if I had to do it again I'd go 18' instead. Gator Tail builds a great boat and I haven't had any problems with it.

I have a 1754 gtr CC and love it. My buddy has a 1854 CC and not any noticeable different in ride or speed. Both boats have same stage 1 mods

I got the GT package with CC in 1860. No regrets other than eating up room when duck hunting but you can't have it all if you use it all season long.

Thanks for everyone's comments. It's a scary trigger to pull with that kind of money for a boat. Any one with this kind of rig fish in south the lafourche?

I don't fish South Lafource much but I fish all over lower Terrebonne parish and I have had any problems. Just don't try to cross a big section of open water on rough days and you will be fine.
