Post Trim tab
I have a 18x46 homemade 3/16 bottom 6 ft deck with aluminum gas tank in front it always tended to ride low in the front and the guy that built my boat left a 1.5" strip across the back of the boat kinda like a trim tab so tried to bend it up to get the front of the boat more out the water we'll it did but now it's letting to much water hit the bottom of the belt housing. And it's kicking the motor up and that on the biggest pin setting I was wondering why it did that I tried to bend it back down in the center but I haven't ran it yet. Any idea why it did that I dint bent it up
Much at all

A buddy of mines rig was just like that except the trim tab thing. He had to get bigger tabs from Coco and put on it.

Try trimming 1" off that strip. 1.5" is quite long.

You can bend the middle back down at the motor and leave the sides bent up. Or completely remove a section in the middle but I wouldn't do that unless it was a last resort.

I'm not sure the guy who built it builds gator tails boats for gator tail ima measure it when I get home I told him 21 transom but I think he might have messed up because I have 18 sides and it don't seem like like the transom is 3 inches higher than the sides

I think my transom might be short measured it two ways from the cement to bottom of my boat is
23.750 - 43.250 to top of transom = 19.5 and from bottom of boat to top of transom measured on the angle is 20.750

Top of transom, measured straight down, not against the transom, should be 21" for a tall transom Gator-Tail.

I bent it down a tad went run it by ma self it wasant hitting the belt housing any more but it's damn close and it starts to tap when I trim all the way up and stand at back of the boat up against the motor I think with a load it will start to hit again will picking up the motor make it tap more or it shouldn't mess with that
