 Need help on mounting a Gatortail I have heard that you have to mount the motor one inch over left or right. I thought you would mount in the center of the transom. Need some advice before I mount an drill holes.

Re: Need help on mounting a Gatortail People only mount off center to help with tiller torque. I'm with Owen on this one though. Mount it in the center, if you have the older style lower unit you can adjust the tab to help with torque.

Re: Need help on mounting a Gatortail Put motor in center go run it. If it's pushing on you slide it to left if it's pullin slide it to right then mount it.
