It was calm and was gonna be the rest of the day I'm not gonna do it again I promise you that I Wish my line woukd have held up cause the rip was right out of the pass and they were catching red snapper at the first rig when you leave out the pass Id have the only red snapper caught out of a gtr I woukd hook up to them but poped my line only had 20 lbs test. On a low profile bait cast felt like I was fighting a tuna

Re: MMT Photo of the Month - May - ENTER NOW! Could have been the 1st person to ever catch snapper out if a mud rig. That was still a stupid move but I did the same thing at the same rig you were at in a small skiff when I was young and dumb.

I don't rember that was a few years ago I was looking through some pics and came across it I for got how far it is but the trip wasant wasted on the way back in most fun I ever had fishing. We ran up on a school of bulls reds heading inshore like maby a mile out if he pass just cast ya line in the middle of them and instantly had one on it line prob followed them for 30
