 Tuff Coat marine liner
Has anyone use the Tuff Coat liner in their boat? I tried to search but couldnt find much.
My carpet needs to be changed in my Xpress and I am thinking of going with the Tuff Coat. I figured i could do it myself for around $200.

 Re: Tuff Coat marine liner
I'd turf it... I'm sold on it after actually walking barefoot on some in 90* heat/sun this weekend.
I've heard about that tuff coat but also hear it's rough on the feet and knees if you ever have to get down and run trotlines or anything of the sort.

 Re: Tuff Coat marine liner
its a bass boat...
I'd have to repaint the entire boat to do hydro turf..
with the liner i could just spray it where the carpet is.

 Re: Tuff Coat marine liner
We turf'd an Alumacraft bass boat and a Skeeter.... It did require a little touch up gun but we sprayed to where we knew the turf would cover and then laid it down. I'm not saying jump feet first because I said I've done it, I'm just sayin I wouldn't rule it out just because it's a bass boat.

 Re: Tuff Coat marine liner
none of the boat is painted under the carpet.
I'd have so much of the boat to touch up. Every square inch of the inside is covered in carpet.
I can have it painted and turfed for 2K... or to tuff coat myself for 200.
I dont give a shit about hydro turf. I want to know about tuff coat.

 Re: Tuff Coat marine liner
Hey, I was offering up a suggestion based on experience. But I guess that's plenty of reason to develop PMS... Good luck with it.

 Re: Tuff Coat marine liner
I know all about hydroturf. Didn't mean to sound like a dick but I asked about a specific product
Someone here has had to use it before.
