 Re: DFou's project hull
Pipe usually looks like Ass because no body finishes the side caps correctly all the way and blend in with the pipe edge.
Looks like a big Buck Tooth on the front of the boat.

 Re: D Cup custom 1848
looks good!
the flat bar that is angled between the sides and the false floor I have noticed on a lot of boats recently, is that just so you don't have to cut the false floor to fit perfect and weld directly to sides?

 Re: D Cup custom 1848
Boat looks good!
Why did you decide to use the gunnel with the raised lines on it? Just curious

 Re: D Cup custom 1848
Good idea on the raised gunnel! I hate using it because gotta make sure to be careful where you grind to not mess up the lines (at least I think so lol)
I'm glad you did the pipe/half pipe! I was thinking to myself please don't put the gay flat plate front on it lol
I hate the plate fronts because if you really hit something hard it will dent the plate even if you use thick. The half pipe is 5/16 thick and takes a beating

 Re: D Cup custom 1848
I actually like the plate it gives it a slick look and its pretty strong u would have to hit something really fukn hard to damage it. But I do agree on this boat it wouldn't have looked good with all the other aerodynamic designs it has Sent from my iPhone using
