 Re: Gatorglide.
You can take your thumbnail and try to dent the gatorglide. , if you can still dent it let it cure some more , when you can't dent then put back on trailer carefully . As far as running It Saturday it's your boat. , i let mine cure a full. 5-7 days to be completely sure .

 Re: Gatorglide.
X2 , we applied it to our drag sleds , big difference. , should have done it sooner. , went on a Bataan death march marsh hunt and could have really used it then .

 Re: Gatorglide.
Went on first trip since I got the GG put on. The stuff is awesome. Didn't notice to much in open water but once I hit the grass it was a different story. Boat just slide where before it was like sandbar felt like you hit the brakes. And as for frog standup guy. Answered all my questions and called back promptly.

I can re measure lots of things. Don't mean it's going to give different results. Kinda like the ruler ya keep in the bathroom. But when ya know you just know.

 Re: Gatorglide.
I didn't put a magic coating on my weenie to make it twice as big. What you are saying don't make no sense.

 Re: Gatorglide.
I wouldn't know anything about a magic coating since I've never met you. However you seem to be a expert on my boat for never seeing it.
Now back to the real question. It did help my boat in planing because where I ride we have channel markers. I noticed I got on step in a shorter distance per the channel markers. I also noticed that my motor did not bog down as bad due to less friction on the bottom of boat because of the gator glide.

We have a winner...s. The video competition was pretty cool and has come to an end as planed.
Well clearly Tperkins stared this threat with the most creative after application video and takes first place. 1/2 GG coming your way. Let me know what color and or if you want to change.
Second place goes to 2ducks for ride/side down the levee. 1/2 gal GG coming your way, also Let me know what color and or if you want to change.
Woodiebuster is the runner up with a quart coming your way.
Everyone that posted a video I trust received their tshirt in the mail. Thanks to everyone and hang on to your videos so you can repost them in the next video competition.

That awesome Frog! I'm very happy with the product and this is very fortunate for me because I hit a rusted submerged pipe and could use some touch ups! I'll go ahead and do the waterline down on the motor too !
Thanks again for making a great product and standing behind it!

 Re: Gatorglide.
Well, I have to admit it; I've ran my boat this year in places I probably shouldn't have, just to see if I could slide through stuff I never was able to in the past. And the Gator Glide on the bottom of my boat has been just short of amazing.
The best selling point I have is when people see me load and unload at the shit hole of a launch I sometimes use. The launch is kinda steep, the water is shallow and the bottom is about 2 feet thick with mud. There is just enough room to turn your boat around and point it towards the narrow channel (about 150 feet long) that goes from the launch to the river. Most people have to use a push pole in order to get out to the river when the water's down, like it is most of the time.
At a carp shoot last weekend my buddy slid my boat off the trailer by hand, with me sitting in it. He climbed in, I dropped the prop on my go devil LT, spun the boat around and was in the river in a matter of seconds.
When we decided to quit, my buddy stopped when he barely backed the trailer bunks in the water and a guy at the launch who had self appointed himself launch director was telling my buddy that he'd have to get back in the truck and back the trailer further into the water in order for me to get the boat loaded. I assured him it wasn't necessary but the guy began to argue with my friend and I telling us there's no way I was gonna load without backing the trailer further down into the water. There were several people standing around watching and my buddy shut him up by offering to bet $100 that I could put the boat ALL the way on the trailer and hit the rubber stop at the tongue winch without moving the trailer another inch. I laughed out loud (more of a roar than a laugh) at the bantering that was going on and for some reason the guy wouldn't take the bet.
So I asked him to move outta the way and then powered up the go devil and launched the boat back onto the trailer. I did have to leave the motor running with the prop in the water while my buddy hooked the boat trailer strap to the boat, for fear of sliding back off the trailer. But the look on the boat launch director's face was priceless because he knew I wasn't ever able to do that in the past.
There were about 8-10 guys standing there, listening to the conversation that watched me hammer the boat back onto the trailer and they all wanted to know where to buy the stuff that was on the bottom of my boat. LOL.
I have more Gator Glide on the way to do the bottom of another boat I just bought and will never own another aluminum boat without putting Gator Glide on it.
Thanks again Dave for selling a quality product.

 Re: Gatorglide.
I finally got the GG base and G2 applied. It wasn't as hard to do as I thought. Waiting a few more days to let it cure. The graphite matched perfectly with the Max4 Camo.

 Re: Gatorglide.
Hey! I finally won something!! Thanks frog! I've thought about painting the inside walls of my rig with this stuff when I get around to doing hydro turf. Would make washing the inside of the boat a breeze with all the mud, blood, and beer that gets spilled in there. NOTHING sticks to this stuff!
