Putting a new floor in the skiff
Got a sheet of 1/8" aluminum yesterday and put a floor in my 542 War Eagle. Still have to put the turf on it and get it screwed down, but after about 10 trim jobs to get it to fit right, it fits pretty good now.

Drill holes in it and tack it down.

Re: Putting a new floor in the skiff
Id weld it down water tight all the way around the sides and put something kind of drainage towards the rear seat. If not you will get dirt, sand, leaves, grass, and whatever else between your hull and the floor. I have a plywood floor in the same boat but have to talk it out probably twice a year to clean all the crap out.

Re: Putting a new floor in the skiff
No idea but I would guess around 75-100 lbs. I'm sure these boat builders can tell you what a sheet would weigh. Mine is 43"x92". I didn't cut a whole lot off of it.

Get some "shark skin" to put in your paint for none skid. Sherwin williams carries it.
