 17x54 duals
I have the opportunity to buy another gtr35 for a reasonable cost. From all my years of experience with mud motor everyone says minimum boat for duals is an 18x60. That being said I'm literally 2 hours away from finishing up a 17x54. The problems most evident that I would run into is engines scavenging because of robbing water from each other. Sagging in the rear ( that's 480lbs of engines!). And finally pourposing. This rig will primarily be used for inshore fishing/bow fishing. With heavy loads and long runs the dual engines would really come in handy. Don't plan on running much pure mud so a level hull isn't much of an issue nor would the scavenging be but what do you guys think? Pretty sure I already know the answer but should I pull the trigger?

 Re: 17x54 duals
Do you already have a hunt deck? If not, you could add one to gain ~18" if you really want the duals.
