Re: Where to get a Bimini top
I was thinking about a big umbrella. My brother had one in his open fisherman and could put it in any rod holder to get shad where you needed it, then close it and throw it out of the boat when you didn't need it. Worked good, my t-top gave me shade fro noon to 1 pm

Re: Where to get a Bimini top
Yes, Bug ties an umbrella to his center console. I got a large Bimini for full boat coverage is all. Unless its high noon, you won't get much shade.

Re: Where to get a Bimini top
Had this one custom made. 10 ft long is as long as they would make it.

550.00. Florida. Quick release mounts were another hundred, but they double as my blind supports also.

Re: Where to get a Bimini top
Will, you said that if you were going to buy again, that you would get it a foot shorter, what was the height and length of the one you have?
How does it handle when under way at full speed? Or do you take it down. Thanks.

Where to get a Bimini top
I keep mine up while on the lake running.
Boat is 19' long. I think the top is 5 or 6 foot long. Enough to keep shade on me while driving. 10 foot would be awesome but I only have $75 in this one.
