 Older GO Devil Flotation Foam
This question may have already been asked, but I was unable to find it. I recently purchased a 1999 16x44 Go devil and I have read many threads that recommend removing the older flotation foam under the floor and replacing it. My question is, what color is the older foam, newer foam? Im not sure if the foam has already been replaced or not and I don't want to tear up the floor for nothing.
Any input is greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Re: Older GO Devil Flotation Foam
Just pop the rivets, remove the foam and then put the floors back down with out the foam. You would never have to worry about it again.

Re: Older GO Devil Flotation Foam
If you like having floatation then go devil will hook you up with a good price on the new floatation.

Re: Older GO Devil Flotation Foam
I know I can get the new foam from go devil. My question though is what color is the older foam. There is no sense in tearing the floor out if it has already been replaced. Plus, there is hydro turf on the floor and I dont want to tear it up if I dont have to. I feel like something would need to be in between the hull of the boat and the floor for support between the ribs to keep it from being spongy.
Thanks again for the replies.

Re: Older GO Devil Flotation Foam
Thanks Mitch. The foam in there now is a bluish green color, so I should be okay.
