 removing hooks
Got a couple hooks in my boat at the transom. Any suggestions how to get them out? Hammer will not work because they are under the huntdeck and theres no swingin room. And one area I could possibly get a hammer to is under the floor. I've tried a small bottle jack with no luck either. Lookin for some other ideas before I cut the floor out and mess up my pretty paint welding it back in.

 Re: removing hooks
Push it thru all the way then cut the barb...they usually come right out after that.

 Re: removing hooks
I have seen them take dry ice to a car that had hell damage and rub the dent until it pops out just a thought.

 Re: removing hooks
Hydraulic jack upside down. Use something to spread the load out on the top. Be very careful though and go slow.

 Re: removing hooks
A hydraulic bottle jack will not work upside down. Maybe if I put something under the bottom of it like a big nut so its pushing in a more direct spot??

 Re: removing hooks
Put a long 2x4 between the runner, place a bottle jack on the board above the hook with another board on top of the jack, put some pressure on it with the jack but not too much, take a sledge and hit the board in front of the hunt deck. How I did mine.
