Picked up my new rig from KP on Saturday. I haven't had a chance to get any good speed numbers on it, but as soon as I do, I'll post 'em up. I took it out to Caddo yesterday, 1-18-10, and ran it all the way from the public boat ramp up the channel to Jefferson and back, filled the gas tanks back up, and ran down the channel and around the main lake. Talk about a helluva time. Here's what I got:

I saw you pulling your rig down Hawkins this weekend.... looks really nice. Tj told me about ya'lls little ride. Sounds like you probably need to do a little tweaking on your trim tabs to get it running perfect. I'll help you get it dialed in if you want to... we can run up to the lake and tweak it a little bit.

Yeah, I definitely need a little help getting it dialed in. I'm bouncing when I run at the right RPM's, and I think I'm running a little low when it's on a plane. Let me know when you want to go, I'm always ready.

probably just need to bend the trim tabs down a little bit, maybe figure out how to get some weight up in the front. see if you can find a couple short pieces of flatbar, and we'll go to the lake some time later this week when the weather gets nice. pm sent.

crews/ gatorpoint / willet,, was this the dual rig we saw in texarkana tx day after new years? deuce... i was the one pullin out of the hotel with the skiff and rhino double pulling trailers.

If you're talkin about over off Pine Tree, that's my buddy's house. I just left my boat over there a couple nights.

Shafer leaves his rig over there sometimes, the GD boat with a PD motor... mine's parked over at my apt now.

oh ok yeah thats where i saw it. i think i may have seen shafers rig there too. i saw a rig with a pd motor but didnt get a look at the boat. probably his.

haha, i live over in spring hill. i pass by there all the time goin to school and stuff. the longview/ tyler guys need to go ridin sometime. i aint got a boat that would keep up but id be glad to buy gas or whatever for whoever im ridin with.

Yep!! First day I took her out. We definitely need to get a ride together. I'm probably gonna go ride some this weekend after I get done hunting... Runnin' Caddo is too much fun.

there's a really talented aluminum welder in Marshall that can do all that stuff for you if you're really interested. He's a good friend of mine, and very qualified to do the work. He does all of H&W's aluminum welding.
