 Complete Redo I just finally pulled the trigger on revamping my 04 Prodrive, with a 36 hp Vanguard and also Hydraulic tilt/trim. Deciding to wing this at home with a buddy, anybody got any tips or helpful information?

Re: Complete Redo Everything you want to do is easy. But keep in mind that you will have to drill new mounting holes for the 36 to fit. The clutch and the spline should all work with the 36. The prop will be smaller so you will need to get a bigger prop for the 36.

Re: Complete Redo a kholer? did they also put kholer's on in 04? i thought only briggs and generac. reason i ask is that i have an 04 pro drive and it has a generac 32 on it. the tach is a kholer but the motor is a 32 generac. kp told me they only put 30 generacs on in 04 so who knows what they did.

Complete Redo After a couple hours of dismantling and trying to get the lower unit to let go of the clutch a buddy and I finally got my 27 off the frame and moved onto his. All my parts came from PD, now all I'm waiting for is the 36! ImageUploadedByTapatalk1406262404.114045.jpg
The hydro. Trim kit didn't come with any instructions for it. Does anyone know the easiest method for installing this? And also how do you get into the lower unit to oil/replace seals?

Re: Complete Redo Since I'm just waiting on my motor I decided to try and do some side work like adding the hydro. trim and everything today. After taking everything apart it seems that more problems are coming up. Due to how my motor is mounted and the way my floor is I'll have to mount the pump somewhere else.
