Waterproof sealed switch vs standard switch w/corrsion x
I've been having problems with my switches in some of the salt spray so i found these switches. Problem is they're $20 a pop, so I'm just wondering if anyone has tried these and had good luck. Or am i better off just getting a regular old toggle switch and keeping them sprayed down with corrosion x? These seem to be pretty well sealed and they say they have and internal o ring. Thanks for any feedback http://www.ebay.com/itm/Taylor-1026-Wat ... 8d&vxp=mtr

To hell with that! $20 bucks is a rip off! Buy yourself a regular mom ( no) off (on) mom $6 buck switch and dip it in plastic dip. Thats what I use and it will last longer than the boat and motor!

I don't know if you can get it down south but up here they make a can of brush on electrical tape works the same a plastic dip only better as this stayers like a rubber coating on it. It's called brush on electrical tape.
