Post Bad to the Bone Bowfishing Rig
Fairly new to the MMT community, but thought I'd break the ice a little by letting ya'll follow along with my boat build. It's being built by Stump Jumper Boats. 1860, 3/16" bottom, 21" sides, full deck over, GTR35 stage 2, custom light rail, 16 80w Seelite LED's. I'm so pumped to see the end product. They just started on it and I won't have motor till at the earliest Sept. 8th... So gonna be a month long process or so. But, I'll do my best to keep ya'll updated and post any pics they send me.

1280w on a 2000w should be fine.

Awesome looking boat so far congrats.

He might run a converter for a troller or be using power for something other than just lights.

Post Re: Bad to the Bone Bowfishing Rig
I will be running two converters for the troller as well and a 3000 actually has a little lower decibel rating than a 2000. I have a buddy that uses two 2000's at the same time and I'm not very fond of how they sound... However, if he only has one fired up, its a completely noticeable difference and if a 3000 is even quieter and will power everything I need it to... It will be fine. And the weight difference between two 2000's and one 3000 is only 30-40lbs (one battery).

Starting to make a little headway, I guess. I believe they will be pulling the rake on Monday or Tuesday. Also, I was able to get 3 of the main items for the build ordered the other night... Hydroturf, lights, and troller. As stated previously, I went with 16 of the Seelite 80w led's. For the Hydroturf, black marble, cut diamond... The whole boat will be black... Hull, motor, trailer, light rail, etc. And for the troller, a Minn Kota Fortrex 80lb, 24v. Hopefully, will have some good pics to post on Monday or Tuesday.

Rake pulled and hand rail started. The plan is for the light rail to be able to mount by sliding it down into the uprights of the hand rail and pinning it.

I've been pondering and have to ask, what's going on there on the bow? The square tubing and such...
