 First mud boat
I have a couple buddies I hunt with that have riveted jons with long tails and a buddy with a Gator trax and a surface drive. Im looking to buy my first hunting boat and i think it would be a great choice to go with a backwater 27 or 35, opinions? Also what do you guys recommend for hulls, id like to get a welded boat but id also like to keep the boat and motor combo under 10K. Any advice and knowledge would be great, such as flat front, mod vee, ect

 Re: First mud boat
Under 10k go on the classifieds and buy an 18 footer with a built 35 for that much! 10k will get you anything you want in good shape used!

call Dave 952-300-3500 he's got a decked out boat with a brand new 35 H2O Swamp on it - right in your range.

 Re: First mud boat
Back h20. Swomp 35 will push just about anything , frank theTau , runs a 35 on a war eagle hull that's not a true mud hull. , river hull maybe , but it runs mid. 20's . A long tail likes a flat bottom. , you can taper up to a skiff bow , any kind of v you want or a battleship bow like woodie busters . My personnel hull choice for a 35 swomp would be 18' x48" sort of like woodies. , it would be bad ass.

 Re: First mud boat
There is nothing wrong with the boat in that ad. , pretty sweet actually , a lot of potential there. . Some gator glide, hydroturf , paint job. , some LEDs up front , build a pop up blind . Then run it like you stole it .
The 18' footer has a pro drive on it now , but it was a bad ass longtail rig .woodiebuster is located in choudrant la .
