 Green fast grass and backing for the blind? Is there a place I can buy green fastgrass for my blind? Is it easy to paint or dye the brown stuff? I hunt around green cut grass all season and my boat blind will look out of place if it is all brown.
Also, where can I get camo netting or something similar for a backing against the frame?

I tried dying it with RIT dye, what a pita. Used a 8ft kiddie pool and 7 bottles of dark green. Put 20 mats in and left them soak for three days. Pulled nice medium dark green mats out. After they dried, only the cut edges were dark green, the rest had a very slight green tint to them. Ended up painting them afterwards.
If anyone else has dyed them successfully, please share how.

Re: Green fast grass and backing for the blind? Makes sense, I'm going to use the fast grass for a couple weeks and switch over to cordura and raffia after teal season. I dont like how fast it rots.
