Post 15x48 w/2014 36 prodrive. Floatation pods info???
Hey guys. Just posting about my rig. I had my new motor installed today. Looks like she's going to run 22-25 in deep water with two men and an ice chest. So far I'm loving it me and a friend just spent a few hours riding around and playing with it in different situations today. The motor works flawlessly I think my hang up is my short hull so hopefully I can get a PD boat by next hunting season. It sure felt like we were flying once the boat leveled out in the shallow stuff but I didn't look at the gps during that. What I do know is that I'll be getting anywhere I want on my duck lease now with out burning up my motor so I am super happy about that. Can't wait till Saturday to go check out the teal situation :).

How does it sit in the water ? Does it take on water if you stop fast ? I'm wanting to put a 35 on my 15-48. Looks good man.

It sits good in the water. The boat actually sits slightly heavier in the bow. My fuel tank is built up front. The boat has a 3/16 bottom and transom with a sealed 1 /8 second floor and every thing else is 1/8 also the transom is 19 1/2. I was wondering if adding floatation pods would help out on the length problem. And so far I haven't had any issues with water coming over the back. The bow does get really low in the water when reversing hard tho.

I just thought it would make the boat run level all the time like when I'm in the more shallow water it run flat and faster. I was hoping to help the deep water performance. If I drive standing more forward I find it helps with the Speed in deep water. The boat only sits slightly heavier to the bow when it's empty tied off at the boat ramp that changes once we load up.
