 10 HP Dixie Mud Motors Trouble The motor goes faster idoling in the water than when you give it gas. Could this be a pulley problem? Any suggestions?

Empty it out and run it with just a couple gallons of gas and yourself to see what it does. That motor should be enough to get on plane. It will be slow but it should plane out. If you load it down it will just push a lot of water. That's why it feels like your going slower when you should be going faster.

10 HP Dixie Mud Motors Trouble I had that prob with my 18hp dixie, the governor was set all the way down, check your governor and get a tack
