Any of you guys in the New Iberia area lookin for insurance for ur rig or just wanna check out other options give her a call and let her know I sent you. It's my sister in law. We got to talkin about the progressive deal and said she could insure these boats when progressive won't. ImageUploadedByTapatalk1413334480.096706.jpg

 Re: Mud motor insurance
Progressive just did mine. I was wondering if it was because I already had a flats boat insured with them. They did not even know what a Prodigy or Gatortail was but they still wrote it. I am in Florida or I would give her a call. Was actually thinking about calling the local State Farm rep here for a quote on all my stuff to see if I could save some cash

 Re: Mud motor insurance
For those who can't use the lady in the original post (like me in FL), Charter Lakes wrote mine and they know exactly what kind of boat it is. They also insure my Lake and Bay.
It's an agreed-upon value policy, meaning they don't screw you on depreciation or ACV (actual cash value) in case of theft or total loss. For instance, I have my Instagator insured for $20k and my annual premium is $390 with $300k in liability coverage. And that's for a hull that's titled as a "homemade hull."

 Re: Mud motor insurance
Isn't is odd that Prudential will cover "motor cycles" (even in states where you do not have to wear a helmet) and therefore have a much greater per-centage of death/disability insurance claims per annum- statistically speaking, yet is giving grief to a very small % MM owners in which per capita has in itself - a very low percentage of insurance claims in regard to MC.
