I'm planning on building a blind for my boat out of 3/4 electrical conduit. I'm trying to figure out which brand of grass I want because I'm wanting something along the lines of fast grass. I been looking in the latest macks catalog and noticed the macks versa grass and was just wondering if anyone has bought any of it. I'm real interested in this macks brand of grass because they also have the "realgrass" brand but it's $20 a pack more. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Have only used the real fastgrass but LL Bean has it for a good price with free shipping

Is the real grass pretty burable? And what color do most people get for hunting in the south around areas with lots of sawgrass? I have been looking at the midseason color but not sure if it would blend in good with my hunting area.

the real fast grass is the way to go. lasts a lot longer then the other brands.

it starts out a lite color but does fade to a darker color.

I used a few sheets of fastgrass and avery realgrass and neither of them held up. They started getting moldy and brittle and tore like tissue paper. It was no match for rain and wind. Ive got 32lbs or raffia on its way now. I ain't saying the grass shit wont work...but it sure don't work for me.
