 Beavertail blind on Excel boat
Per Beavertails fit chart a 1600 series is supposed to fit a 17/54. I bought the 1800 instead and did a little modifying. It now fits great without the rear mounting bar being in the way and the front bar isn't mounted to the outside of the gunwhale where it usually caught on timber. I have more pics and info if interested.

Re: Beavertail blind on Excel boat
I have a 1860 excel with the 1800 beavertail. The only complaint I have is the bar in the back is right in the way. Not sure I can do what you did with it because I don't have the extra length. I'm gonna check though. Good mod for sure.

Re: Beavertail blind on Excel boat
i have the 1800 on a 1860 custom boat, fits real good doesn't hinder GTR operation and was easy to grass, shots 3 guns really nice haven't tried 4 yet. The blind is way better than the Quick Set - easier to set up and travels very nice.
4Cody4 came over and helped put some finishing touches on the grass - looks great now. Best part is when you deploy the blind the temp raises 20 degrees

Re: Beavertail blind on Excel boat
