 need some opinions!! i just ordered a 1648 gator tail boat and a 25 gtr for it wanted to no how it runs my buddy has a 1644 and his runs great but I wanted a little bit bigger so I went with the 1648 with drop deck

Re: need some opinions!! I ran a 1848GD Hull with a 23GDSD. It was ok but was a dog with a load. Get a 35hp. You will not regret it.

Re: need some opinions!! ya im limited where I hunt no bigger than a 25 but I no a guy that has a 25 on a 1646 and it does fine just seeing if any of yal use the 1648 with a 25 and how it runs

Re: need some opinions!! When the motors are inspected do they just look at the stickers? See if you can get some 25hp and place it over the 35hp ones.
Not like they do much more than that right?

Re: need some opinions!! ya they have been checking serial numbers bc that reason people trying to cover the 35 and put 25 just don't get it if they make that law the gws should have to follow it to cant tell you how many times iv seen them running 27s-35s

Re: need some opinions!! I run a 1642. If I could do over I would have got a 35. That being said I already had my motor when I had my rig built. Ideally I would go back and order a 1754 with a stage 2 gtr. Prodigy of course
