 Throttle Suggestions
Well the learning process continues on the long tail [SMILING FACE WITH OPEN MOUTH AND TIGHTLY-CLOSED EYES]
I am not the biggest of women so I have small hands (insert husband joke here) and the ball throttle is hard for me to reach when my hand is on the grip. I have been toying around the idea of swapping out the existing ball with a clutch lever. Is this a good idea or should I consider a bike throttle or should I just shorten the handle?

 Re: Throttle Suggestions
The clutch lever has been done. I think it was Huck Finn. You might try to search that thread.

 Re: Throttle Suggestions
I would recommend going to Walmart and getting a bicycle lever and trying it out. They are pretty cheap, and worth the try.

 Re: Throttle Suggestions
Either way looks pretty simple to do. Has anyone done either or both? Just wondering if anyone has done the swap and has any pros or cons.

 Re: Throttle Suggestions
I'm not sure what motor you have, but I just put the BPS throttle on my GTR and really like it.

 Re: Throttle Suggestions
A bicycle hand brake lever and cable is the way to go. Any bicycle repair store can help you with all that you need. About $20.00 total. They are spring loaded and can be operated with the rear 2 fingers of the hand running the tiller. It is simple to be able to do both things at the same time, run the tiller and good control of the engine throttle.

 Re: Throttle Suggestions
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00BY7 ... UTF8&psc=1Might need to run by a bike shop for a custom cable, but the handle is cheap and bolts on easily and solid. Due to this one working, I have one just like what huck finn used (I bought two to hedge my bets, and the green one came in first, so it's the one I installed). If you want it, shoot me a pm. It's just going to sit on a shelf if no one here wants it.

 Re: Throttle Suggestions
Thanks everyone. With big duck season starting on Saturday I will order the hand brake and cable so I can work on this next Monday. Would rather have a few more days to fix what I screw up and not have to hoof it for opening weekend.
