 23 swomp vs 23 mbWhich motor would you guys recommend for my tracker 1448? It will mostly be 2 of us hunting with a small hunting load (close to 400 lbs for all).

Re: 23 swomp vs 23 mb What height is your transom , 59" for short transom boats. , ss , 72" for tall transom boat s ,Ls . I run a swomp. 23. ( modded stage II. ) on a. 15 x 36 godevil duck skiff , stock I was running 19-20 . But definitely suggest the backwater over any other longtail .

Re: 23 swomp vs 23 mb Frank the tau ran a stock 23 swomp ss on his war eagle boat and ran same 19-20 range . Longtails typically like long skinny boats , yours would be shorter and wider but speeds should be compareable. , is it a true flat bottom .
