I have a couple of these under each side of the gunnel and one under the front deck and in each box- really helpful having them in the boxes.


Whatever you get, its great if you can flip them around for to keep the lenses clean while trailering and helps when launching at a ramp w/o light. Spot/Flood combo's are great but pricey. The prices have been coming down on some and there are some pretty economical LED spot lights out there with high lumen output- these are 3600LM spots and are really bright and a good price. They also have floods available.

This is my Excel light kit that flips around- its got 2900LM spot/flood combo lights and they work well for me.

white leds under the catwalk. help a whole lot when digging around for stuff in the morning before a hunt.

How are the EBay lights holding up in the Woods and Rough water conditions ? I was thinking about buying one but did not know how well it would hold up in a 2ft Chop.

They do good until you catch a cypress tree just right and it tries to rip the front end out. I don't care what light you have its not gonna hold up well to a tree. It still shines as bright as the other but it's cracked all to be damn.

Rigid Industries M-10" Flood

I purchased a Chinese 24in light bar from eBay for 49.99. When I recieved it, it had no instruction in box. I hooked it direct to a battery and light came on. I waited till it got dark and tried it again and nothing. I emailed the people and they telling me it won't come on because I don't have a relay with a harness. Anyone else have this trouble?

I don't have a relay on mine. You have to have your positive and negative hooked up right though. Led lights won't work both ways. Found that out when I got my new bowfishing lights. Had to scratch my head for a sec on that one.

Being it's a 12v light it should just come on. The refunded my money. U will buy a good on this go around

That's what I thought too but they have diodes in them that prevent them from working both ways.
