 Flat hydroturf??
Anyone used it? It has no grooves or diamonds. I cant afford to buy as many sheets as it would take to do the grooved/cut sheets cuz they have to be orientated the same way. Is it still very slip resistant? Looks good, etc?

 Re: Flat hydroturf??
Got the flat Swomp Camo on my boat and I really like it. It's a little cheaper, easy to install, and I've had no problems with it getting slippery.

Search Sears turf. It's CHEAP and ok. Not as good as Hydroturf but 1/4 the cost.

 Re: Flat hydroturf??
Flat is good, it's not slippery. I realize alot of people don't clean mud boats, but if it has groves you have to scrub, with the flat one just hit it with a water hose

 Re: Flat hydroturf??
Im willing to spend the money to do hydro turf because i want it to last and i really like the camo, but the cheaper the better. I just really like the idea of it not being directional. I have a sheet of the black molded groove on the floor now but its oldddd. So im gonna stick with what i know is a quality product but get the flat stuff. Should be able to get by with one less sheet plus its a lil cheaper. Ill save over 100$ i figure

 Re: Flat hydroturf??
My grooved turf gets a bit slippery with mud/clay on it. I expect the flat would be the same or worse. Either turf would be better than AL or Rhinolined floor though.

 Re: Flat hydroturf??
I have the flat. Much easier to install for me with terrible OCD. That way I don't have to make all the lines perfect. I haven't found it to be slippery at all. It still gets a little warm, but no where near as warm as the bare aluminum.

I have the Sears mat. Apparently it's starting to break down because everything that touches it turns black.
