 Longtail prop/ Heavy cup
Looking for opinions on which brand of longtail props come with the heaviest cup from the factory. The backwaterinc props are great for the price but I find they lack cup for running through thick mud. They tend to just spin for a while before biting. I'm running a 9x8 backwaterinc prop on my 35 swomp now. Thinking of dropping. Down to 9x7 with heavy cupping to get more bite in the mud but keep as much top end as possible.

 Re: Longtail prop/ Heavy cup
I did talk to jake and he said the crush sleeve can be removed if a thicker prop is used. He also said they are working on a prop with more cup that I might be interested in.

 Re: Longtail prop/ Heavy cup
Why not just have yours reworked?? I run a 9x4 with lots of cup on my 20hp, so far it does everything pretty well. Gained all over.

 Re: Longtail prop/ Heavy cup
I don't want to do something to a brand new prop and not like it then be stuck with it. If I try a stock tiger prop with a lower pitch I can always resell it if I don't like it.
