 So who's done it
Built there own duck boat? My son can weld. I'm in the metal roofing bus and together I think its doable. My only concern is cost. If I can save substantially its worth it. If I'm only going to save 1 or 2 thousand then hell I'll pay for a custom. I'm near Dallas Tx and have a custom dealer in mind. I'm wanting a transport boat. 18 or so ft. 4 guys and gear. I have a 21' xpress for fishing so this will be strictly a duck boat.
Any info or feedback appreciated. Thanks fellas

 Re: So who's done it
The breaks for the hull and bending the stringers etc... may be more than you can handle- don't know what you have access to. You may work out a deal on a custom base hull and add your own customizations /finish out. May want to talk to Pete at WC Customs (sponsor on here), he's just East of you.

I would like to one day as well, curious to hear replies. Love building and working with alum and stainless. Anybody have a link to a thread of a build on here?
