 After marke hunt deck?
Bought a new rig recently (1754 Polar Kraft Outfitter W/ 35hp GDSD) and i didnt care for the GD on the boat.... A buddy of mine wanted to sell his MB 5500 BD so i scooped it up, his boat had a hunt deck and most other boats i see have them, I know all the pro's and cons with them and i feel as though i want/need one.
Is there anyone that makes these? If no, I know Beavertail makes float pods, does anyone make a "jack plate" for lack of a better term to push the motor back out of the boat?

The way most of them are built, it's not really something that could just be added on. You have a welder cut the back of your boat and make it out of your existing transom. The easiest way, if you're dead set on having one, would be to just sell the boat and get another.

Im in Ont Canada, but travel throughout the U.S frequently, I'm not dead set on having one but like the idea of the engine not being in the boat per say, I also like the flotation and other benifits it has to offer, Perhaps i look further in to the beavertail pods.

 Re: After marke hunt deck?
Roger, I appreciate all the info. I will be staying clear of the pods it looks, I know my boat is braced vertically so i may look into a shop gabbing me a deck.
I can assure you I wont sell the paid for boat to jump into a boat that ill make payments or pay a bunch more on.
