45 minutes dead south from Charlotte, NC directly on the state line. What part of the IC you worried about?

Gotcha, I'll be running Georgetown and murrells inlet hunting, Not outside the break walls. I'll be in the inlets and the icw throughout murrells and myrtle fishing too

I don't have a problem running that area at all. Now if the weather is crappy, you won't see me near winyah. We almost sank a boat out there two years ago from a storm popping out of nowhere

Good to know, is your boat a flat bow or does it have any type of v/hybrid rake?

And I know your going to loose a little speed running in deep water but would you see a difference running 10' water or 30' ? Or would they be about the same

It's a flat bow. No hybrid rake. And once I get over 4-5' depth, I see no difference in speed no matter how deep the water is. The only thing with Winyah is the tide can be pretty bad at times depending on wind.

Well if yall get out this way give me a shout, I'd love to test out different size boats

We are having a ride in Goose Creek next month. Plenty of rigs to eyeball and test drive.

u can come ride in mine . im located in coastal plain of north Carolina. 18x48 prodigy. 22 in sides, v rake, etc.... I can put u on river or sound to check out waves. anything over a reel 2 footer will beat screws out of boat. u may need 2 boats.ha!
