 dead dux wigeon
been a while since here. did some searches here as well for wigeon boats. looking for more info. to justify spending 2k on boat. but damn if I don't like it way better than anything else that size. not running stumps just mud and vegetation. also, has anyone built a 15 ft. crawfish skiff similar to this? crawfish skiff is my other option. all thoughts and opinions appreciated. thanks, swampfox

 Re: dead dux wigeon
My buddy has one with a 10hp copperhead. Awesome little boat but would use caution taking it into any kind of waves. I met the guy who builds these boats. Good guy.

 Re: dead dux wigeon
the seat pedestals are not in the right place for a mud motor with a longer tiller handle than a outboard. bein a fiberglass boat I didn't want to cut them out and try to move. no open water with these boats marsh only

 Re: dead dux wigeon
I've been impressed with em. 22 with 2 people, and the seat location never bothered me. My buddy had one I used all the time for a year.

 Re: dead dux wigeon
I know several people that run that boat with copperheads. They are great little boats for small water and easy to hide. Not sure if he had them custom built but my buddy I hunted with Sunday has seats that are mounted on big flat base and you can take them in and out, move around, or whatever you want to do. The bases are fiberglass and looked like they matched the boat so I'm assuming it's an option maybe? I haven't looked at what all he offers. Good luck!
