 New guy built a boat ready to build another So a couple years ago I wanted a new boat but couldn't afford to buy a custom built one and new how to weld but not aluminum so I gave a it shot. I've never built a boat and knew nothing about building boats just what I've seen from all the research I did and this is the product I think it came out pretty good for my first try. Its 1740 with a 36 prodrive I never got a good speed on it with an empty boat but loaded down it did 25 which i was happy with. AS SOO AS I FIGURE OUT HOW TO ADD A PHOTO I WILL UP LOAD THE PICS.

Re: New guy built a boat ready to build another OK guys this is My first post so go easy on me guys and don't laugh at my welding I promise I'm a lot better now that I have had a couple years to practice. Now my questions for my next build I want to do a triple taper chine but my question is where do I cut the bow out to do i stop the cut before I get the chine or doI run it through and up the chine until I get the flat part of the side. If that makes sense.

Re: New guy built a boat ready to build another Id put some longer boards on that trailer or move the boat forward. Your going to put some nice hooks in all that hard work hauling it like that. Boat looks good!
