Post Anything new from Go Devil?
Go Devil got anything new in the works for 2010/2011? Boat re-designs/options? Bigger motors? (Kohler 40), Motor improvements?

Have owned a GD LT and a GD SD as well as a 1644 GD. That's some good dudes down there. Have several stories just like everyone else about customer service and genuine good dude actions. Just wondering if anyone has heard of anything in the works. Guess if it ain't broke you don't have to fix it. BUT, there ain't nothing wrong with new stuff built well either.

Joey used to be on here. Is he still?

Post Re: Anything new from Go Devil?
Hi heard that they came out or are coming out with a stainless steel exhaust. Not sure what it will look like but i would imagine something like the other ones out there. I had to buy a new exhaust for my motor a couple months back and when did, Warren said something about putting a SS one out on the market. not sure when but I would have jumped on it real quick if he had it. And he said something like $190 or so, but don't quote me on it.

Warren had some new overalls on last time I stopped by.

I beleive the stainless muffler will be stock on new go-devils rigs, and can be purchased by current go devil owners for under $200. I am not 100% sure but if you own a go-devil and need a muffler give them a call.

Find it hard to believe all they got pending is a new exhaust and some new coveralls

Like I said, guess they don't need to come up with something new and improved when what they got works good!!

lighter flywheel - improved battery charging - better throttle response

engine sounds similiar to the new engine mb is using. it has the newer charging system that chares at low rpms. that will be a nice addition.

Right - I have also heard that the marine edition has been evolving
also so there may be a couple of revisions out there - the original
engines we are all used to were optimized for a more steady state
mid to higher rpm usage in a variety of commercial uses - the big
complaint / need from the MM or marine users was throttle response
from lower rpm - so I suspect some changes in ignition and carboration
will be incorporated into the marine versions of 2010 and beyond...

I was told that GD's new engines were noticably improved in regard
to the lower rpm throttle response....
