I know its a far drive, but I should have a litter born in a few months. She was breed 2 weeks ago. Gatordubea on here got one out of the last litter.

Re: looking for a boykin pup
I'm also from the Baytown area and was looking for a boykin spaniel. I got one from Texas trace out of Hempstead and have nothing but good things to say about my experience with Greg and his wife. Opie has been great so far and has plenty of drive. I tried to upload pictures but I can't figure it out. Text me if you have any other questions. 8325145541

Re: looking for a boykin pup
Get one from parents who are both duck dogs. Mine's dad is a HRC/HR dog but the mom is an upland hound, and mine got more of the upland gene. Not the greatest around water. Also very independent but I think thats the breed. Find the owners of Chief and or Stormy and see if they've bred to a HRCH Boykin bitch. Then the odds will be as stacked in your favor as you can get with a little curly brown hound. Brandywhine Kennels produces some fine (duck) Boykins also.
