I finally put some hard tiller time on the new GatorTail 37EFI engine, and it's more impressive than I initially though.

Top speed in deep water with the GT 3 blade prop was 29 @ 4700 rpm. Top speed in deep water with the GT 2 blade was 30.5 @ 4400-4500 rpm.

Isn't 29-30 the same speeds it ran when it had stock carb and 2 blade prop I think u have claimed that many times before

Still trying to run EFI down into the ground even under a different user name.... You should be working on mowers or something, lawn maintenance season is upon us.

A 150 yamaha is only bout 13 grand, and comes with 6 years of warranty.

Well here is a little comparison.

My boat 18x48 extreme with 700$ Mikuni and 550$ exhaust ran 30-31.

Another guy I know has same boat with 500$ efi up grade and runs a steady 32.

Mine runs 47 on a heavy ass v bottom carolina skiff!

Stock to stock efi will win.

Stage 2 wins over efi.

Who knows once efi can be modded.

Bottom line.

That ain't a real speed video but I guess that's what y'all are use to claiming I still didn't see 5 people in there much less 28 +. Next time run it somewhere where there isn't Sand and mud kicking up in the vid

I tell you what aka. I forgot more about running modded and un modded motors the. You will ever know. It impressed me a lot. Yea we was in shallow water around 2'. But it ran those light numbers in the same water deapth. To only loose 1.5 mph with the added weight was impressive to me. Now post us some videos of your motors running down calumet cut.

I rode in an 1848 GTB Extreme hull with the 37 EFI and there were 4 of us (220,220,200,270) and we held 27 all day in deep water. I am picking up an 1860 GTB Extreme hull with the 37 EFI on it in 2 weeks.
