 What size motor..
Hello all.. New to forum and have a question. I have a 14x36 boat and am going to build a motor, should I get the 6.5 predator or do I need the 13 predator? Price difference is about 300 for kit and motor.

I'm not sure it just says transom pad on the description.. I am just trying to figure out what they are there for.

 Re: What size motor..
On my Go Devil LT it's just a big bolt that clamps down on the transom. The bolt is huge and flat ended, so not a problem. On a smaller motor with a smaller bolt, they may ad something like this to spread out the pressure to help keep the clamp from damaging the transom but still be tightly clamped.
