In fact I bet when u weld aluminum it gets hotter than 450*

Also if its heated slow and evenly is should be fine. But there's no way in hell I would spend money on getting a boat powder coated and not be sure it will hold up. If it does start to chip and it does take a grinder to get it off! Well fuk dat shit!

Contact Fluid Industries in Beaumont. If i would try it with anyone, it would be them. They have done several motorcycle parts for me and they still look great. They have an oven big enough to do a vehicle frame (8x8x20), I'm sure they could fit a boat too. They also do Hydrodipping, cerakote and can handle your firearm paperwork too http://fluid-industries.com
