Post Light Bars
Just ordered a new boat and am trying to decide which lights/light bar to go with. For now I'm thinking of going with the Rigid E2 20" with the driving pattern. However there may be some better options out there, so give me your thoughts....

IMO you cant get much better than rigid as far as quality but they're proud of that shit. If moneys not really and issure I'd get the rigids

I have the 20" Ridgid single row in combo pattern. It's low profile and will work on good in the bayous on your lease Brennan.

I have rigid 20" double row combo and love it. Caught mine brand new in box on eBay for $300. If you wait you can catch good deals

Personally I would check out these guys if I were you. Proven products just as or brighter than ridgid and also cheaper.

I bought the cheapest 24" bar I could find on eBay, I don't even know if it had a name. It was like 60 bucks.

I hunted 50+ days this year plus numerous bowfishing trips using it and have zero complaints with it. It's performed flawlessly.

I've thought about buying another just like it for if it does take a shit.

Like Woodie, I bought the cheapest 24'' I found off of Amazon, with free shipping. Its mounted on the front a 4 wheeler that takes tons of abuse from mud and water. Four wheelers snorkeled, and the lights been under plenty of water for extended periods of time. Its lasted almost 2 years now. Had condensation behind the lens at one point. Opened it up, dried with a hair drier, and resealed it with no problems since.

I've got a 32" that I got off of eBay for like $92 and free shipping. It came with a free wiring harness. I mounted it on my truck's grill guard so it gets used pretty much daily and in all types of conditions. The light is awesome. Couldn't me happier with it. The free wiring harness they include is junk though. The wires eventually worked their way out of the fuse block and the connectors came apart. I bought a wiring harness from Rigid and now after almost a year, I've had no problems.

My buddy has an ebay 50 inch, 2 ebay 32 inch, and 4 ebay cubes on his truck. As well as 2 32 inch and 4 6 light pods on his boat. So far all of them are working still. He's had the ones on the truck 2 years and the ones on the boat a year. They don't seem quite as bright as the higher quality ones though. About to make me a frog light hat with a 6 led pod. should be better than the regular 12 volt head light.

The frog's eyes don't glow good with led like they do with an aircraft bulb.

I used the Cree light bar from Amazon, I don’t know if it was because the LED light was brighter than the halogens I used to use, but it seems like I ran over more coots driving to hunting spots this year than ever before?

The LEDs seem to freeze the coots more than halogens and they just don’t get out of the way.

I went with the cheap 14in eBay light. It took a dip under the water this season and scared me, still works just fine though
