I painted them. 8bucks w coupon for a pack of 4 that are 25"x25". Comfortable as hell, light. Feel like a hybrid of foam/neoprene/rubber. Pack of 4 weighs about 2.5lbs.took about 2hrs,i expect it to last 2yrs. Waterproof, non slip, and kids love it. I glued them in and stapled them to each other. Gorilla taped all pieces together before installing. Only negative opinion i have about them is that I'm a "tear shit up" kind of guy and they aren't heavy duty.

Yea so far this stuff has worked out great for me..

It's still in great shape after this duck season. I'll be curious to see how hot it is this summer but it's gotta be better than the flat OD green aluminum underneath.

Post Re: Harbor-Turf
I have been toying with this idea for awhile to put in the new 1844GD coming next week. I gotta have something cool to put my 5 year old on while I am out fishing most of the summer.

My biggest fear is that the interlocking connection pieces are going to start to get torn up faster than anything else. What if I put the foam down and then put the grey boat carpet over the top of it? Would it be any cooler? Would it keep the mat from getting torn up? Or would I just be wasting my time with the carpet layer?

I'm glad to hear other people have used these foam mats....

IMO you don't want carpet in a duck boat, and it would be just as hot as the mats out in the sun. If you can afford it, do it right and put in hydro turf. If not, put the mats in while you save for the turf.
