Post EZ Sliders
I put the ez sliders on my trailer this past weekend. It made loading and unloading pretty easy with just the very end of the bunks in the water. I can also push the boat side to side way easier. ImageUploadedByTapatalk1414508296.981413.jpg

I bought two sets off eBay for $65. Each set had 10 pads in it.

I got one set of 10 from Academy Sports for $35 when I rebuilt my trailer a few weeks ago. I didn't even put down any carpet. Makes it a lot easier loading and unloading

Have them on my old trailer and they worked good. Put GatorGlide on the new trailer and it works better. Main thing is to get rid of the carpet!

The reason I got them is because I have to dry load in a few places I hunt. I can unload with the boat a lil ways in the water.

I installed these when I changed my bunks to 2x6 (they also make 2x4 as well). They wrap around the whole bunk. My boat has steelflex on it so it makes dry launching so much easier- we haven't had water in a while. I got them from BoatDr.

I also added some AL c-channel on the back side in the back to keep them from sagging - its the impact area when loading with the water low.

When you guys are dry loading you just pull the hand winch on the trailer back to the boat and crank it up on there?

I put these composite deck board deals on mine, cost was about $1 a foot. Only problem I have now is on steep ramps it's a pain in the ass trying to unhook the safety chain and winch strap while trying to hold the bow to the winch post. The gator glide makes it want to slide right off

i put a 12" removable roller about an inch above my bunks. When I back the trailer in I put the roller at water level. Then drive the boat on until it fall over the roller and the transom rest against it. Get out and hook the nose. When launching ya just back in a little more and she floats off. Works great!

I remove it for dry unloading.

That's a good idea especially when loading by yourself.

I installed a set of the Academy Sliders. Work great, but recently they have been getting sticky and hard to get the boat off. Anyone run into this?

Anyone tried a silicone spray?
