Post Getting a HIN for an abandoned boat?
I found a boat on my lease that was obviously abandoned, it's in need of repair and all of the identifying marks have been removed. I'm thinking someone wanted to get rid of it due to the amount of repairs needed and sent it a drift and didn't want it being returned. I'm down here in Florida and have a friend who can fix the holes in the aluminum for free, so if I can get it fixed anybody know I get it titled?

Salvage and registration laws vary from state to state....

Call your local State Game Wardens...
