Was out on the river this morning playing in my boat. Jumping some land masses in the river. So we go across one jump and a guy comes running down the bank yelling at us. "Hey this is our land! Don't do it again! "
Mind you I'm in the middle of the river. We just waved to him and laughed it off.
So we ride around the corner and turn around coming back past where this guy was and the son of a bitch is waving a gun at us. Then points it at us! Then I'm just like fuck this guy. I turned the boat around again and rode out no need getting shot over where I was boating.
I guess the mud boat hatred has gotten pretty strong, but to threaten to shoot somebody for jumping a sand bar in a river is beyond ridiculous.
anyways I'm gona get this guys address off google maps and send him a box of dog shit.

If that's what they worry about when they get there then hell with em.

Or you could just meet up with him in town and settle it, but it is safer to come on the internet and post about it.

If it's a non-navigational water way, land owners own the river if land is visible. Not to poo on u flint, but those are reasons why mud boats are frowned on

Filing a report is enough to establish what happened. Tell them where and when it happened and let them sort it out. I doubt very much he went to the cops and said I waved a gun at some guy on the river. If you were on his property or you're doubting whether or not you were trespassing, maybe keep it to yourself.

And what he did is illegal. Menacing/Brandishing.

Stopping to talk with the guy before he had a gun never crossed your mind? The reason I say this is I have ran across people down here just like you but I stopped and and spoke with them and explained things and it's always seemed to end well heck a few they have told me I could hunt it

So, none of y'all have ever pulled a firearm or thought of pulling a firearm on someone on your property that isn't suppose to b there???? I'm sure every one of y'all would claim to pull a gun on some one for being on your property...... I can say for myself, "yes, I have"..... Caught people looking in my shed at about 2 am..... Drew down on them, they ran. I called LEO, that wrote a report, check camp across road from me and caught 2 black males inside the camp digging thru stuff.... I even told LEO that I drew down on the suspect

Hell I don't recall asking anyone for advice. Just tellin the story of what happened to me while I was out in my boat on a public waterway this morning.
This happened in a fairly populated area on a big recreational lake owned by Georgia power where two rivers dump into the lake. It creates kind of a mini delta area with a lot of shallow water, grass, small bars of land and sloughs. I ride in this area all the time and this is the first trouble I've ever had out of anyone around there.

Sticking the middle finger almost got you shot this should wake you up . Some folks are just fucking crazy right or wrong don't always matter you should have either turned around talked to the guy with out pointing the middle finger or kept going and paid him know mind .
