 GAS LINE?
My gas tank in the front of the boat using 1/4" rubber gas line to the motor. Decided to change out the gas line since it is 4 yrs old.
Is anyone using steel gas line to protect against ethonol? Is it a better option? My thinking is it would last a hell of alot longer.
Is this a good idea,? Just thought id throw it out there.
Thx

 Re: GAS LINE?
I ended up running 1/8" stainless tubing from the front of my boat to the seperator and regular gas line out the seperator to the motor. I only had it on for maybe 6 months give or take and it's been working fine so far. I'm sure if you went buy the tubing it would cost alot though, someone ended up giving me a 20' stick that's why I used it.

 Re: GAS LINE?
Any new fuel line has a ethanol-compatible inner lining. Routing and securing stainless line and hoping it doesn't get bent up is a hassle.

 Re: GAS LINE?
I have used 3/8" stainless tubing in almost every boat I have ever owned. If your application allows it to be installed, it is a great option. Plumb it straight into the gas tank, and just have a short pig tail rubber line off the motor at the back of the boat. Eliminates many problems.
