 New with some Q's Hello there, I'm new to MMT and to mud motors. I have a 1652 VT Lowe Roughneck with an outboard on it right now. I put pods on it in order to help with shallow water hunting. Now I've decided to get a Pro Drive for my hull. I realize it's not an optimal mud hull, but a whole new set up is not in the budget.
The help I'm looking for is a couple questions.
Is anyone running this set up? How does it run?
I may not have to space to rotate into reverse with the pods. Is reverse really needed or nice to have?

Pods do not go well with surface drives.
Reverse is nice to have, no, not a necessity.
If you have pods and dont want to remove them

Re: New with some Q's What is the issue with pods and a surface drive? I would rather take them off than run a long tail.
