To those of you who live close by and have never been , the annual Cajun Heritage Festival is coming up. This years signature piece was carved and donated by my dad , will probably also include decoys from some of the board members as well. This piece goes to auction as well as many others on Sunday . It is an indoor show with a small admit fee. It's goal is to preserve our almost lost heritage of the old timer Cajuns . So if any of y'all have time on June 6-7 come check it out.

Yes sir , it is carved as are the shotgun shells . He also made the shell bucket. If memory serves me correct everything is 1/3 scale .

Yes the civic center provides the food seafood gumbo , hamburgers hotdogs and sweets.
