 So it begins.
Getting light bar set up. 20 cheap Amazon LED work lamps. Gonna tint them with yellow laminx film and wire them to 24v. But for now this is what I got.

U did good by mounting most of them up high. 24 v is the way to go imo also.

 Re: So it begins.
Lights were abt 260 for 20 on Amazon. (I sell LEDs out of my store and I can't even get em that cheap from suppliers) they are cheap and I expect trouble eventually with em but for now they'll do. Cajun that's the one thing I'm missing in this boat. It needs cup holders. Like it (1754cc GTB) but no damn cup holders. Next ones gonna be custom built.

 Re: So it begins.
I have the same lights but I've always hooked them up 12v. Would they be brighter if I hook them up on 24v?

 Re: So it begins.
Couldn't really find clean water but it worked out well. I need more lights though. I think it's wise to use the 48w if you use the cheap stuff. Optics are kinda crappy on the Cheepos

 Re: So it begins.
added a little bit more light. 2-30 bars and 1-20. Batteries feel it quicker with them on it but the light output is better. Lamin-x yellow filters. Hadn't been able to get many shots on reds but taking out what we can if gars.

 Re: So it begins.
Absolutely. It works for me. I know 150watt warm whites work better, but I'm all in on these lights for 400 total and a favor for the brackets. So I'm in this for around 800 including the bow and wiring. Not too shabby for this set up I think.

 Re: So it begins.
Yes, the 48 watt, SPOT are much better then 27s, But still not as good as 150 HPS. I run all 3 of them.
