My neighbor runs a 1754 f4 with 36 sport v. It's a really heavy boat.. With me and him (prob 350lbs between both of us) our guns, shells, and a few mojos it'll run 25 shallow or deep. It's not a very fast boat but I do like the way the storage is set up and it's a good looking boat. But in shallow water with the boat barely floating the boat really struggles to get up with any sort of load. The sport v does drive like a dream though with no tiller torque and the reverse is really easy to use. Id look elsewhere..

I had a 44sport v on a 19x48 extreme metal fab boat. only 26-27 empty. had alot of issues like leaking lowers. cracked block due to vibration issues. broken oil coolers due to vibration. leaking power trim. all with in 50hrs. mudbuddy gave me a new 44 sport v with the updated parts and still had problems. sold the rig. i have a buddy with the same 44 sport v and his lower unit fell off last week when his studs broke. dont kno what caused this because engine still on break in. hes getting it fixed and buying the 44hdr
