Best boat/motor combo for me. Need advice!

 Best boat/motor combo for me. Need advice! New to the site, And could use some suggestions. Not sure what the best boat will be for me, I usually hunt shallow marshes 2 ft deep or so but recently moved and am gonna be hunting some more rivers so I need something good for both. Thinking 14-16 ft 42-48 wide? Usually me 1-2 other people gear and dog. Would also like to fish out of it from time to time. Keeping under 10k. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Re: Best boat/motor combo for me. Need advice! i run a 1448 with a 25 hp mblt. goes slow with extra people, and i dont hunt out of it, i hunt blinds, but its great to get back and forth to blinds

Re: Best boat/motor combo for me. Need advice! I think a 1648 with a 27+HP motor would fit your bill just fine. more HP = more $$ but if you have the $ it is nice to have more HP. You should be able to find plenty of these rigs for well under 10K..
